2014 | Looping 3 channel video | Projection-mapped installation onto textiles with reflective vinyl

Videos collage together own footage using salt and pigment with appropriated footage of children breaking piñatas and documentation of US police brutality. Each video is edited into a design of a US flag (three of the many iterations of the flag throughout US history) and projection-mapped onto textiles which are overlaid with reflective vinyl. The reflective patterning is based on motifs from US currency and is only visible at oblique angles from each textile.
